Primary Health Care Services of Peterborough is the proud recipient of the 2009 Peterborough Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Award in the category of Health and Wellness. The award was presented at the Chamber of Commerce awards ceremony on October 21, 2009. The Peterborough Business Excellence Awards publicly recognize and honour local businesses that have demonstrated a passion for excellence.
The Health and Wellness category is in recognition of a business in the health & wellness sector, that promotes wellness and vitality in our community and demonstrates recognition of the importance of educating and inspiring individuals to achieve optimal health.
Bill Casey, Executive Director, Dr. Stephan Ragaz, Past Chair of the Board and Dr. Don Harterre, Physician Lead, accepted the award with thanks to everyone in our Networked Family Health Teams and Primary Health Care Services of Peterborough staff for their contribution. Dr. Harterre was quoted in the Examiner having said he was proud of everyone’s accomplishments and excited about what we think we can do in the years ahead.
